Single rope grab bucket is a kind of efficient lifting and unloading equipment which controls the opening and closing of the grab by a single rope, mainly composed of grab body, wire rope and so on. The grapple is directly hung under the hook of single reel crane, which is an effective tool for loading and unloading coal, coke, ore, nickel ore, yellow sand, grain, fertilizer, alumina, sulfur and other small granular bulk cargoes in various extreme and harsh environments.

Features:

The opening and closing mechanical structure of the grab is simple and novel, easy to operate, easy to maintain, low cost and few failures. The two wire ropes of the grab can be used by connecting with the wire ropes on the crane respectively, which is suitable for the crane with one hoisting drum.

Categorization

1. According to the number of buckets, single rope grab can be divided into single rope clam shell grab bucket and single rope orange peel grab bucket;
2. According to the way of controlling the opening and closing of the grab, the single rope clamshell grab bucket is divided into single rope touch open bulk grab bucket, hand dumping (opening) clamshell grab bucket, wireless remote control grab bucket and so on.

Principle of operation of single rope grapple:

The single rope grab is connected to the crane by a wire rope.
1. When the crane lifts the wire rope upward, the grapple is open by its own gravity.
2. When the grapple descends to the top of the material to be grabbed, the wire rope continues to be lowered, and the grapple is inserted into the material under the effect of gravity.
3. The wire rope is lifted upward by the crane operation, and the tension of the wire rope will be transformed into the force to close the grapple through the mechanical structure of the pulley set inside the grapple.
4. The two or more flaps of the grapple will gradually close and hold the material tightly.
5. When the material is lifted to the specified position, the wire rope is lowered again, and the grapple opens again under the pressure of gravity and material, and the material is discharged.
