The difference between electric hoist and pulling electric winch, do you know?

As a lifting equipment, electric hoist and electric winch have a lot of similarities, but there are also many differences. Now we will make a detailed distinction from the aspects of appearance, usage, operation mode, lifting speed, lifting height and other aspects.

Firstly, in terms of appearance, electric hoist is small in size and mainly used on I-beam, while electric winch is a little larger and can be used as long as it is fixed.

Secondly, in terms of usage, electric hoist can only be used for lifting operations, however the electric winch can be used for not only lifting, but also for traction and other operations.

Thirdly, in terms of operation mode, the electric hoist can move left and right, while the electric winch can be used as long as it is fixed.

Fourthly, in terms of lifting height, the lifting height of electric hoist is generally 6m to 12 m. What’s more, installing a steel wire rope will cause a series of problems, which is very inconvenient. The lifting height of the pulling electric winch depends on the capacity of its drum, which is usually around 100 m.

Finally, in terms of lifting speed, the lifting speed of the ordinary electric hoist is 8m/min. The slow lifting speed of the electric winch can reach 10 m/min.
