Classification

According to the gantry crane frame structure, it is divided into gantry cranes and cantilever gantry cranes.

1) 20 ton double girder gantry cranes can be divided into 1. Full-gantry cranes: the main beam without cantilever, and the trolley is carried in the span; 2. semi-gantry cranes: the outriggers have height differences, which can be determined according to the civil requirements of the site.

2) Cantilever gantry cranes can be divided into: 1. Double cantilever gantry cranes: The most common type of structure, the structural forces and the effective use of the site area are reasonable. 2. Single cantilever gantry crane: This type of structure is often selected because of site constraints.

According to the form of the main beam of 20 ton double girder gantry crane, which is divided into a single main beam gantry crane and a double main beam gantry crane.

1) Single-girder gantry crane: Simple structure, easy manufacturing and installation, small mass, and the main beam is mostly derailed frame structure. Compared with the main beam gantry crane, the overall stiffness is weaker. Therefore, this form can be adopted when the lifting capacity Q≤50t and the span S≤35m. There are two types of L-shaped and C-shaped door legs for single-girder gantry cranes. The L-type is easy to manufacture and install, has good stress conditions, and has a small mass. The C-type feet are made to tilt or bend. The purpose is to have a large lateral space to allow the goods to pass through the feet smoothly.

2) 20 ton double girder gantry crane: strong load bearing capacity, large span, good overall stability, and many varieties, but its own mass is larger than that of the main-beam gantry crane with the same lifting capacity, and the cost is higher. According to the structure of the main beam, it can be divided into box and truss. Generally use box-shaped structure.

Gantry cranes are divided into the following four categories according to the application form.

1) Ordinary gantry crane: This type of crane mostly uses box type and truss structure, which is the most widely used. Ordinary gantry cranes mainly refer to hook, grab, electromagnetic, and hoist gantry cranes, as well as semi-gantry cranes.

2) 20 ton double girder Gantry cranes for hydropower stations: mainly used for lifting and opening and closing gates, and can also be installed. Although this crane is not often transported, once it is used, the work is very heavy, so it is necessary to appropriately increase the work level.

3) Shipbuilding 20 ton double girder gantry cranes: used to assemble the ship's hull, two crane trolleys are always available: one has two main hooks and runs on the track of the flange on the bridge; the other has a main hook and a sub hook , Running on the track of the lower flange of the bridge to flip and lift large hull sections. The lifting capacity is generally 100 ~ 1500 tons.

4) Container 20 ton double girder gantry crane: used for container terminal. The trailer transports the container unloaded from the shore container transport bridge to the yard or to the rear.
