The trolley drive system consists of a motor-driven vertical reducer that transmits power via couplings and drive shafts to two wheel sets at a drive ratio of 1:2, ensuring no slipping of driving wheels during startup and smooth, reliable braking; this compact arrangement facilitates easy installation, maintenance, and disassembly of all components, while wheel diameter and materials are selected based on the most adverse operating conditions to eliminate any risk of overloading.

The crane trolley is equipped with two hoist units, each with twin-groove drums arranged symmetrically to independently control the grab's support and closing ropes, ensuring easy operation, stable performance, and high productivity; the hoisting mechanism is driven by an electric motor via a reducer that powers the drum, with the hook lifted/lowered through a wire rope reeving system; braking is achieved through a combination of electrical and holding brakes for smooth, safe, and reliable performance; all components are compactly arranged for easy maintenance and assured safety/reliability.

The bearing supports of the wheel assemblies adopt an angle-box structure, with the angle boxes fixed by bolts to the upper bent plates of the trolley frame or bridge end carriages; this design allows adjustment of both horizontal and vertical wheel alignments during maintenance to prevent rail gnawing, and the angle-box configuration is currently the most widely used and well-proven technology in China.
The drum is machined with standard helical rope grooves, keeping the fleet angle of the wire rope relative to the drum grooves within 3.5°, which not only prevents the rope from jumping out of the grooves but also ensures orderly and tidy rope layering.
The grab is used to handle various types of bulk loose materials for operations such as loading, unloading, stockpiling, and feeding.
